Crynodeb
Conduct two weekly ward rounds on Burstead or Orsett wards. Deliver three outpatient clinics per week. Undertake a bronchoscopy list every second week. Participate in the general medical consultant oncall rota and respiratory oncall rota. Provide 1-in-7 weekend cover for new patients, reviews, and potential discharges. Manage inpatient referrals and triage outpatient referrals during offward rotation periods. Cover colleagues during annual and study leave as required. Lead the care of patients within their area of special interest, with the potential to assume a lead clinician role in that field. Maintain active engagement in CPD/CME, audit, teaching, and research. Contribute to a flexible and evolving service model, including potential innovative or 7day working patterns.
