Summary
Year 5 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting June 2026 with no planning required

Duties as Year 5 Teacher:
- Teach a Year 5 class full time with no planning required
- Deliver engaging lessons using provided planning and resources
- Adapt teaching to support varied learning needs, including SEND
- Maintain consistent routines and promote positive behaviour
- Support pupils’ progress in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects
- Provide verbal feedback to guide pupil development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain strong upper‑KS2 provision
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong upper‑KS2 experience
- Confident delivering lessons using provided planning
- Effective behaviour management and strong classroom organisation
- Able to motivate and support pupils of mixed abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
