Are you a chef who loves the fast-paced energy of a busy kitchen and has an eye for detail? A new food concession, Flùr Pizza Pasta, will soon be arriving in Edinburgh, and we are now looking for an experienced Chef to join our founding team in the heart of the city.
So whether you’re a seasoned pro or a competent chef looking to master a new station, we want to hear from you.
In this position, you will be the heartbeat of our kitchen. While we take our food seriously, our processes are designed to be streamlined and efficient, so if you have a solid culinary foundation, we can train you on our specific specs and techniques in no time.
Key Responsibilities of the Chef:
• Managing the pasta section during high-volume services.
• Preparing daily mise-en-place to ensure the station is ready for action.
• Delivering consistent, high-quality dishes that meet our artisan standards every single time.
• Working collaboratively with the pizza and dough teams to ensure a seamless service.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is essential.
• You don’t need to be a pasta expert yet, but you do need the focus and drive to pick up new skills quickly.
• A commitment to excellence, ensuring every plate that leaves the pass is perfect.
• You are professional, punctual, and a dedicated team player.
• A genuine love for great food and the "new opening" buzz.
