Essentially though, you need to Have qualifications or experience to masters level in any relevant discipline e.g. nursing, social work, clinical psychology or occupational therapy. Have experience/training in an additional therapeutic modality - motivational interviewing/CBT or a willingness to work towards. Have an interest/passion for improving life experience for young people and families. Have substantial experience of working with children, adolescents and families presenting with emotional and behavioural difficulties, family relationship problems including experience of working with young people with eating disorders. Enjoy working in a MDT setting. Have experience of managing a caseload and associated professional activities under supervision. Have experience of providing evidence based psychological therapy to children and adolescents. Have experience of providing clinical supervision and line management to team members. Have experience of using ROMs. Have experience of teaching and liaising with other professional groups. Have experience in developing formulations.
