£12.71 - £14.42 per hour
Temporary for 3 months, possibly longer
Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm
My client is a well-established local business based north of Shrewsbury that manufacture and supply a unique and market leading product to their customers around the world. Due to high demand they are looking to recruit a Sales & Logistics Administrator to join their team on temporary basis for 3 months and possibly longer. This role will require you to respond to your customer’s enquiries in a professional and timely manner, give quotations, process sales orders, and organise logistics.
Your responsibilities will be:
• Primary customer service contact for UK customer enquiries
• Provide quotations for customer enquiries as required in coordination with the Customer Service & logistics Manager and Sales Director.
• Liaise internally / externally to cost for product and transport requirements.
• Support with the swift referral for technical / additional support.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers
• Assist in the preparation of collection / delivery documentation. Support in the dispatch of product from warehousing.
• Organise UK delivery via on-line portal / transport partners.
• Maintain and develop customer / partner business relationships.
• Request and collate information for setup of new business and transport/warehousing/ associated suppliers.
• Raise in a timely manner - sales orders / delivery / dispatch notes / Pro-forma invoice / credit notes & invoicing.
• Raise / process purchase orders and associated documents for transport / warehouse storage and associated suppliers, under the instruction of Customer Service and Logistics Manager.
• Assist and support in departmental development and processes to meet business growth and development.
• Maintain filing and data protection processes.
• Managing reception duties including greeting visitors.
• Handling and directing incoming calls
• Handling and directing online enquiries
To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must have come from a strong sales administration/customer services background and can showcase your passion for exceeding your customers’ expectations. You must have great attention to detail; be highly motivated, patient, flexible & self-driven. Experience in logistics is desirable but not essential.
