If you’re passionate about helping children grow and would like to begin a rewarding career in childcare, we would love to hear from you.
Start your career in childcare with a supportive and friendly team.
Jingle Bell House Nursery is a small, privately owned nursery dedicated to providing high-quality childcare in a warm, loving, and homely environment.
We care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, creating a space where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn, grow, and shine.
We are now looking for a friendly, caring, and enthusiastic Assistant Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children and would like to start a career in childcare, even if you don’t yet have formal qualifications.
Your Role:
As part of our nursery team, you will:
* Support the team in maintaining our high standards of childcare and education
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children
* Assist with daily activities, play, and learning experiences
* Support children's development through play and interaction
* Help with observations and activity planning as you gain experience
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure the nursery runs smoothly
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* No previous nursery experience is required — a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a caring nature are what matter most.
* Full support and training will be provided, with opportunities to gain your Early Years qualification while working with us.
What We Offer:
* A supportive and welcoming team environment
* The opportunity to start your Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Excellent career progression opportunities
* Hands-on experience working with babies and young children
* Flexible working patterns
* Paid overtime for meetings
* Christmas and Bank Holidays off
* Two half days off each week
* Competitive salary
* Regular supervisions and mentoring
* Ongoing in-house and external training to support your development
* The freedom to plan your own activities and share your ideas
Who We’re Looking For
We would love to hear from you if you are:
Kind, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
* Interested in starting a career in childcare
* A team player with good communication skills
* Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
