University Hall is looking to recruit a House Service Assistant to join their dedicated team. During term time University Hall provides student residential accommodation while in the summer months the residencies welcome guests and group bookings for holiday accommodation. The house keeping staff from all residencies work collectively in the summer to look after our guest’s.
The post involves working alongside a team of eight House Services Assistants, managed by a House Services Supervisor & Senior Supervisor. Core duties include the cleaning, servicing and maintaining the appearance of all communal areas including showers, kitchen, stairs, corridors and toilets. In the summer months the House Services Assistants will also clean and maintain the bedrooms, manage the laundry and room turnarounds.
The ideal candidate will be a team player that works well in a tightknit team structure who friendly and customer focused.
Hours of work will be 30 hours per week, 5 days from 7 between 9am to 3pm This is a standard post, 52-week contract, on 5 days from 7 basis.
Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. If you have a can-do attitude and like working with young people in a team structure, then this may be the role for you.
