We're recruiting for a Shepherd/Stockperson for a farm in Devon, EX13.
An exciting new job vacancy has arisen on a 800-acre family farm.
Our client operates a closed flock of performance-recorded Lleyn ewes and ewe lambs, which have been part of the AHDB Challenge sheep project for the last 7 years.
They use Eid with TGM Select Sheepware, along with a Tru-Test XR5000, to collect and manage data and work closely with vets to drive the flock's performance and production forward.
They finish beef cattle, alongside a herd of suckler cows and calves.
Person specifications:
Enthusiastic and passionate about livestock
Exceptional animal husbandry skills
Further training (if required) is offered
Own working dog would be an advantage, or the ability to use a dog or willingness to learn is essential
Ability to drive a tractor/JCB, quad bike and shepherd/trailer licence preferable
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE

A local family house in the village at £700 P/M plus bills.
Or
Parkhome onsite at £75 per week plus bills for a single person or a couple.
Hours:
07:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday
