What skills and experience we're looking for
Teaching Assistant
Q3 Academy Great Barr is seeking a caring, motivated Teaching Assistant to join our SEND team. You will support students with additional needs, help remove barriers to learning, and work closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons, monitor progress, and deliver targeted interventions.
The Role
• Support students in and out of class
• Build positive relationships and encourage engagement
• Adapt resources and assist with learning plans
• Support behaviour expectations and safeguarding
• Communicate with families and professionals
• Assist with trips, activities, and interventions
What We’re Looking For
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
• Experience supporting young people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt learning and work as part of a team
• Commitment to inclusion and our values of Community, Ambition, Respect, Excellence
