What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Zetland Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified, conscientious Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated school team.
The successful candidate will provide learning and care support for pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This will involve working closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver activities, supporting pupils with daily routines and transitions, and helping to manage behaviour positively.
The role will include supporting both individual pupils and small groups with literacy and numeracy tasks, providing feedback and helping pupils work towards their individual learning targets.
Applicants should hold a recognised Level 3 qualification (or equivalent/higher) in Early Years or a related field or have relevant experience. They must also demonstrate the ability to build excellent relationships with children, staff and parents.
