⭐ Early Years Teacher (EYFS Support Role)

Start Date: 13th April 2026
⏳ Contract: Full-Time | Maternity Cover (Minimum 1 Year)

We are currently recruiting for a passionate Early Years Teacher to join a fantastic 1-form entry primary school in Nechells, Birmingham, proudly rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing school known for its exceptional teaching standards, strong leadership, and supportive staff culture.

The position is a long-term maternity cover role starting 13th April 2026 and expected to last at least one year.

‍ The Role

You will be working alongside the Reception class teacher, supporting pupils within the EYFS classroom and helping deliver engaging early learning experiences.

✨ No planning or lesson preparation required — allowing you to focus fully on supporting pupils and creating a positive classroom environment.

✅ Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


  • Experience working within EYFS


  • A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to working with young children


  • High expectations for pupil development and progress


  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
