Donisthorpe Primary is a popular and successful school and we are extremely proud of our community ethos. We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.
We are looking for an excellent Learning Support Assistant to offer in-class support.
The successful candidates will need to have:
• NVQ 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, (or equivalent) or suitable work experience
• High expectations of what children can achieve
• Experience of working/volunteering with children in the primary range
• Flexibility and creativity
• A positive approach and passion for engaging children in learning
• An ability to develop good relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
We are a friendly, supportive, forward-thinking school with a strong ethos and a history of excellent classroom practice. We will provide the successful candidate with support and access to high-quality professional development opportunities.
Visits to the school are very warmly welcomed and can be arranged.
