Oakwood is a mainstream secondary school which is inclusive and supports the individual needs of all our students. We have an exciting opportunity for the following support staff to join our friendly and supportive team. School Receptionist 25.5 hours per week - Monday to Wednesday - 7.30am – 4.30pm, 39 weeks per year Surrey Pay Grade S4 £15,266 - £16,346 (£25,052 - £26,825 FTE) depending on skills and experience Start date – 1st June 2026 We are seeking a friendly, organised, and committed individual to be the welcoming face of Oakwood School, Horley. As a school with 1600 pupils, the right candidate will be a central figure in our bustling environment, helping to maintain the smooth operation of our school's daily activities. Reception is a busy environment so you will need to thrive well under pressure and be able to multitask whilst remaining professional and friendly. Full training will be given.
You Should Have • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role • A positive outlook and be a team player • Proficiency with office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) • Strong organisation skills with the ability to multitask • A friendly and professional manner.
