Specialist Occupational Therapist – Lane Fox Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to work as part of an established and dynamic respiratory and mechanical-ventilation multi-disciplinary therapy team, on a 12 month fixed term basis.

You will be expected to support the Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist and when indicated, the wider Lane Fox Services multi-disciplinary team, championing the role of Occupational Therapy. You will be part of a dynamic, innovative and developing service, with opportunities to develop your quality improvement, research and service development skills.
Our large and well-established multi-disciplinary Lane Fox Services team will support the successful candidate to further enhance and extend their assessment, intervention, rehabilitation and complex discharge planning within this evolving speciality for Occupational Therapy. The role requires working across sites at both the Lane Fox Unit (St Thomas’ Hospital), and Remeo Centre (Redhill, Surrey).
Occupational Therapy in critical care and specialist respiratory services, is an evolving area, and GSTT as part of Kings Health Partners and South East London Critical Care networks are working towards a robust, clinically excellent and evidence-based practise Occupational Therapy service.
We seek an individual who is autonomous, forward thinking and enthusiastic to work with us within the Lane Fox Service (including the Remeo Centre). The successful candidate will manage a variable clinical caseload working with a variety of patients across the lifespan who require mechanical ventilation - with the support of a highly specialist team lead occupational therapist.
