Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) plays a vital role in shaping how people move around our city region. As part of our growing Commercial function, our Asset Commercialisation Team is driving an ambitious programme to unlock new value from our assets, estate and digital network.
We’re now recruiting a New Revenue Delivery Manager to help expand and deliver innovative incomegenerating opportunities across advertising, digital, property, partnerships and emerging technologies.
This is a careergraded role (Band 78), offering development, progression and the chance to make a real financial impact. You’ll support and increasingly lead the delivery of new revenue streams that strengthen the Bee Network and contribute to a sustainable transport system for Greater Manchester.
Your Role
Depending on experience, you will either support or lead activity across a wide-ranging commercial portfolio, including:
- Developing and delivering TfGM’s commercialisation and new revenue strategy
- Identifying, shaping and delivering new income streams across advertising, estates, digital and data
- Driving out-of-home (OOH) advertising opportunities across Metrolink, bus, shelters, interchanges and vehicles
- Leading or supporting the mobilisation of digital advertising contracts
- Building and managing highvalue commercial partnerships and contracts
- Working closely with Estates, Digital, Customer, Innovation and Operations teams to maximise commercial returns
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve value through innovative use of assets
- Supporting initiatives linked to the Bee Network and improved customer experience that also generate income
- Managing projects, stakeholders and suppliers to deliver measurable financial outcomes

What you’ll bring

You’ll have:
- Experience in business development, commercial delivery or sales, with a clear focus on income generation
- Good financial awareness, with the ability to assess value, risks and returns
- Strong communication and influencing skills, able to work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver to deadlines and see projects through from concept to delivery
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across estates, digital, customer, operations and partner organisations
- Curiosity and ambition to identify new commercial opportunities, trends and innovative uses of assets
At Band 8, you’ll also bring:
- A proven track record of delivering significant new revenue (typically £500k+)
- Experience leading complex commercial projects, contracts or partnerships
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence operating at senior and executive level
- The ability to shape and influence commercial strategy, not just deliver against it
- A leadership mindset, taking ownership, making decisions and driving results with minimal supervision
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Exposure to commercialisation, startups or new business environments
- Knowledge of advertising, sponsorship or digital media, particularly outofhome
- An interest in technology, digital platforms and emerging commercial trends
What we can offer you
This is a permanent role with a salary of £43,210 - £56,195 depending on skills and experience. Please note, this salary range is applicable from the 1st of April 2026
