Crynodeb
Ordering Pharmaceutical stock in line with department procedures and rotas. Receiving orders from hospital suppliers To maintain computerised records for stock items in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, including stock arriving in Pharmacy. Completing ward top-ups as per department procedures. Putting together orders from various hospital clinics, departments and outside units. Sorting and disposing of returned drugs from the wards and departments according to the Pharmacy and Trust policies. Understanding procedures required when encountering potentially hazardous products such as cytotoxics, irritants and poisons etc. Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
