Are you an experienced traffic marshall looking for a stable, long-term role in East Ayrshire? We are currently recruiting for a professional Marshall to join a major commercial project in Kilmarnock. This is a key role ensuring the safe and efficient flow of plant and personnel on a high-activity site.
The Role:
As the primary point of contact for the site entrance, your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle Banksman Duties: Safely guiding HGVs, plant, and delivery vehicles into and out of the site.
- Pedestrian Management: Ensuring the safety of the general public and site staff near vehicle movements.
- Access Control: Verifying site visitors, checking delivery paperwork, and maintaining the site log.
- Health & Safety: Upholding strict site protocols and acting as a visible deterrent to unsafe practices.
Role Requirements:
- A recognised traffic marshall ticket and CSCS card is an essential requirement.
- Proven track record on commercial or industrial construction sites.
- A clear, confident, and professional manner when dealing with drivers and the public.
- You are the first person on-site to open the gates, therefore punctuality is non-negotiable.
