Crynodeb
We are looking for a caring, dynamic, and highly motivated individual to manage our varied portfolio of social care services across Teesside. You will be responsible for leading a highly motivated team of managers and contributing to the further development of services within the region.
Our support services across the region include:
- Long-term move-on housing for people with enduring mental health needs
- Supported living services for people with a learning disability, and people on the autistic spectrum, including people who have additional complex care and communication needs
- Floating and community home care support for people with a learning disability and/or mental health needs
- Individuals funded via the Tees Valley Complex Care & Support Framework
- On-call duties for local and national roster
You must be an accomplished manager with extensive experience and knowledge of the social care sector, and the provision of support for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You must have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You must be able to write clear assessments, support plans and guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
We will expect you to have the networking skills, organisational ability, and vision to deliver excellent outcomes for customers, and to implement initiatives, which connect service users to their local community and promote our reputation. This role will also position you as the Registered Service Manager with CQC; prior experience as a Registered Manager is not required, but you must be a confident and accountable practitioner, with the ability to put quality standards into practice.
