Location: Coachford, Co. Cork

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: €38,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

Based in the scenic Lee Valley, Coachford, Co. Cork and with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, our client is a leading specialist in Radon Testing and Remediation, Radon and Methane Barrier Installation and Structural Waterproofing.

They are currently seeking a Graduate / Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early career QS professional to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to major infrastructure projects.

Requirements

Essential

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying
• 0–2 years’ experience
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certification (or willingness to complete during training)

Desirable

• Experience using Bluebeam or similar QS/measurement software

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with cost estimates, tender preparation, and BOQs
• Supporting measurement, take-offs, and valuations
• Read, interpret and overmark detailed construction drawings
• Helping manage variations and progress claims
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and site records
• Attending site meetings and liaising with project teams
• Contributing to high standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance
