Cleaning Operative – HMO Supported Accommodation
Company: Sands Housing Management
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30am start)
Salary: £27,500 per annum

Sands Housing Management is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team, working across our HMO supported accommodation properties in Birmingham.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our properties, both internally and externally. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
•Cleaning communal areas including hallways, staircases, landings, kitchens, shared bathrooms, and living spaces
•Cleaning residents’ rooms where required
•Cleaning internal and external windows
•Cleaning the front of the properties
•Sweeping and maintaining gardens, pathways, and alleyways
•Carrying out deep cleans when required
•Reporting maintenance or health and safety issues
•Ensuring cleaning supplies are monitored and replenished
•Undertaking additional cleaning duties as required (not limited to the above)

Requirements:
•Previous cleaning experience (preferably within HMO, supported accommodation, or residential settings)
•Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
•Good understanding of health and safety standards
•Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

What We Offer:
•£27,500 per annum
•25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
