The Trainee Firestopper role:
Complete Fire Stopping Installations.
Install fire stopping to fire doors.
Small to large penetrations.
Working in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces.
To ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations.
To consistently achieve agreed performance targets
Appropriate use of all materials, tools, and resources
Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
Work towards IFC accreditation in fire stopping (breach & penetration sealing) and NVQ
To represent Ian Williams in a professional and friendly manner when talking to customers and internal stakeholders, always.
What will you bring as a Trainee Fire Stopper?
Hold the full UK driving license - Company Van provided
Qualifications not essential as on the job training will be completed, however, it is required that applicants have an understanding and confidence in using hand and battery powered tools
Have excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
To act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
