Behaviour Support Assistant - Secondary School (EBD Focus)
Cardiff
£460 per week
April and September starts available

Are you passionate about supporting young people who need the right guidance, structure, and encouragement to succeed?

We are working with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Cardiff that is seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to join their team. The role focuses on supporting students with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), helping them engage positively with learning and school life.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who can build strong relationships, remain calm under pressure, and provide the consistency and encouragement that young people need to thrive.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support with behaviour and emotional regulation. You will play a key role in helping them stay engaged in lessons, develop positive coping strategies, and build confidence in the classroom environment.

Experience working with young people with behavioural needs is highly desirable. However, we have found that Psychology graduates and Sports graduates often excel in this type of role due to their understanding of behaviour, motivation, and teamwork.

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates who:
