Job Introduction
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive SecurityOfficer to join our team in Glasgow.You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for ourpeople, assets, and clients by providing a high standard of service on site.
Thisis an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional team on awell-established contract, offering consistent shifts and attractive benefits.
Whatyou’ll do:
- Ensure the security and safety of the site by conducting regular patrols and monitoring activity across all areas
- Manage access control by carrying out identification and vehicle checks for staff, visitors, and contractors
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or security concerns in line with site procedures
- Complete clear and accurate incident reports and maintain up-to-date security records
- Operate security systems, including CCTV and control room equipment, in accordance with site protocols
- Provide a professional and approachable service, assisting staff, visitors, and contractors when required
What you bring:
- A valid and current SIA Security Guard licence
- A recognised First Aid qualification
- Previous experience working in a security role or similar environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence when interacting with a range of people
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Basic IT skills, including confidence using PCs and the willingness to learn site-specific systems
- A full UK driving licence
