As Critical Care Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and clinical leadership of the Critical care unit, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the smooth running of the unit. You will play a key role in service development, patient flow, and maintaining high standards of care and safety Role requirements Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration. Significant senior post-registration experience in Critical Care. Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to manage and prioritise workload. Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. Passionate about delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care. Ensuring safe staffing levels and skill mix through effective rostering Monitor and manage staff sickness/absence in line with Trust policy. Ensure that standards are managed and met in line with Clinical Governance. Support and monitor staff performance ensuring that learning needs are identified through personal development plans and appraisal. Support the implementation of the trust strategy for Nursing at Unit level
