Bodyshop Manager – Portsmouth
Are you a hands-on, driven leader with a passion for the automotive industry? An established independent bodyshop chain in Portsmouth is looking for a Bodyshop Manager to take charge of their busy, dynamic workshop.
What We Offer:
• Salary: £55,000 per year
• Bonus: Up to £20,000 annually
• Hours: 45 per week, Monday to Friday
• Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
• A chance to lead a talented team in a thriving independent bodyshop
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the bodyshop, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Manage and motivate the team, driving performance and development
• Maintain health & safety standards and compliance across the workshop
• Monitor workflow, budgets, and resources efficiently
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and insurers to ensure smooth service delivery
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience managing a bodyshop or automotive workshop
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes, health & safety, and industry regulations
