Hours: Part-time – approx. 20 hours per week

Working across two local primary schools:
Thorndon CofE VC Primary School, Eye, IP23 7JR
St Peter and St Paul CofE VA Primary School, Eye, IP23 7BD

Are you a passionate sports coach who enjoys inspiring children to be active, confident and engaged?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 qualified Sports Coach to deliver fun and engaging sessions across two friendly primary schools in Eye.

This is a varied and rewarding role delivering breakfast clubs, PE support, lunchtime activities and after-school sports clubs, helping pupils develop confidence, teamwork and a love of physical activity.

Session times:
Breakfast clubs: 7:45am - 8:45am
Lunch clubs: 12:15pm - 1:15pm
After-school clubs: 3:15pm - 4:30pm
There may also be opportunities to deliver optional holiday camps during school holidays

What you’ll be doing:
Delivering planned, structured sports sessions during wraparound care
Leading games and physical activities for children aged 4–11
Managing behaviour and keeping children actively engaged
Creating a safe, positive and energetic sporting environment
Supporting breakfast, lunchtime and after-school clubs with activity-led provision
(Optional) Coaching at holiday camps during school breaks

Essential requirements
Applicants must have:
Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification (minimum)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Experience working with primary school-aged children
Strong communication and organisational skills
A positive, energetic and reliable approach
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
