We’re looking for a User Researcher to join our Insight team and help us shape smarter, more informed decisions across Abri. If you’re passionate about research that genuinely influences strategy, improves services and drives meaningful change, this could be the perfect next step.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of scoping, managing and delivering a wide range of primary and secondary research projects. You’ll bring both qualitative and quantitative skills, designing the right methodologies, gathering robust evidence and turning your findings into clear, action focused recommendations that teams across Abri can use.

This role is in the Insight Team, which is a wider team of 20 colleagues providing performance management, forecasting, research, data analysis and customer and business insight. This role sits within the Research function, where you’ll work closely with colleagues to understand the questions we need to answer and ensure research is embedded in how we plan, design and deliver our services.

You’ll use your market or business research experience to run multiple projects at once, choosing the right tools and approaches to uncover meaningful insight. From designing surveys and discussion guides to analysing data and producing high quality reports, you’ll make sure our decisions are grounded in evidence. You’ll also work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure insights are understood, shared and acted on.

We’re specifically looking for someone with hands on experience in a market research or business research environment - not academic research - who knows how to deliver insight that drives real world impact.

You'll be working from one of our offices (Eastleigh - SO50 6AD, Bracknell - RG12 1RF, Yeovil - BA22 8WN or London - W10 5BN) three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues, and the other two days can be worked remotely.

We value genuine, authentic submissions, therefore we won’t consider AI – generated applications, so please make sure you’re sharing your own experiences and insights in your application.

There will be a two stage interview process for this role:

First stage: week beginning 13 April 2026 via Microsoft Teams.
Second stage: week beginning 20 April 2026, in person interview at one of our offices.

If you’re excited by the idea of using research to shape services, influence strategy and make a real difference to our customers and communities, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and bring your expertise to a team where your work will truly matter.
