Job Title: Reach FLT Driver/Warehouse Worker
Location: NN8
Shift: 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
Pay: £13.10 per hour (increases by 50p in April)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Reach FLT Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team in NN8. This is a temp-to-perm role with a great opportunity to grow within the company. The position will involve a mix of manual warehouse duties and operating a reach truck. You'll be responsible for picking products using handheld scanners and entering data into computers, so you must be computer literate. While 60% of the role will be manual, you will spend approximately 30% of your time operating the reach truck.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking orders using handheld scanners.
* Entering data into warehouse management systems and ensuring accurate stock levels.
* Operating the reach truck to move goods around the warehouse (only 30% of the time).
* Ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
* Completing manual tasks such as loading, unloading, and organizing products.
* Adhering to all health and safety procedures in the warehouse.
Requirements:
* In-house reach truck license with at least 1 year of reach truck experience.
* Strong computer literacy and ability to work with warehouse management systems.
* Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when picking and entering data.
* A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
