An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with a keen interest in cancer services to join our incredible team.

This is a post for a Registered Nurse to work on The Headland Unit – a busy Monday to Friday outpatient treatment area delivering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals who enjoy clinical skills and self development.

We welcome expressions of interest from registered nurses with a minimum of 12 months experience. Experience within this speciality is desired but not essential as we are able to provide a thorough training programme.

To support and enhance our nursing we have in house practice educators who work closely with new starters and guide our nurses to increase their clinical skills.

There is an expectation that nurses will be willing to support our sister inpatient ward, Lowen if required.

On-going education and development is actively encouraged and there is access to degree level modules, as well as opportunities to attend local, national and international conferences.

Informal visits and discussions are encouraged. For further information please contact Claire or Lisa Unit Managers for Headland Unit on 01872 258090 or Sarah Caskey, Clinical Matron, on her mobile via 01872 250000

To provide a high standard of compassionate patient centred care.
