About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Services Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services at a key client site in Dublin.
This role is responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance, and financial management of multiple site services while ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will act as the single point of contact for all Facilities Management activities across the site and play a key role in strengthening client relationships and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Contract Management
- Manage the delivery of multiple facilities management services across the site.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual obligations, SLAs, and company procedures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of contract scope, variation control, and performance measures.
- Oversee subcontractors and third-party suppliers to ensure quality and compliance standards.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for the client for all FM services on site.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead regular performance reviews and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Financial Management
- Manage site budgets, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Prepare and review monthly P&L statements and forecasts.
- Monitor contract performance and implement action plans to improve financial outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary on-site team.
- Manage recruitment, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Foster a positive team culture and high levels of productivity.
Compliance, Health & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain regulatory compliance within a GMP/GDP regulated environment.
- Manage risk registers, audits, and business continuity planning.
Business Development
- Identify opportunities to improve services, introduce innovations, and expand service scope.
- Support contract growth through additional services and operational improvements.
About You
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing services within a regulated environment (Pharma / Medical Device / GMP / GDP).
- Experience working in an outsourced facilities management environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including managing P&L.
- Proven client relationship management experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- 10+ years leadership experience in a GMP environment.
- Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.
- NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
