ROLE DESCRIPTION
37 hours plus 5 Contractual overtime = 42 hours
To operate as a security officer and carry out tasks as requested by senior members of security. To operate individually on own initiative. To operate as part of a security team
The Deputy Security Shift leader will cover Security Shift Leader absences and act as the responsible person, for a nominated team of security officers, must be able to engage staff, make decisions and have a high level of communication/interpersonal skills.
Shift Leader's work a 4 on 4 off rotational cycle shift system. Four 12 hour days then four days off, four 12 hour nightshifts then four days off. Dayshifts 07.00am-19.00pm. Nightshifts 19.00pm-07.00am.
The Security Officer will work the same 12 hour shift pattern comprising 4 shifts on 4 shifts off rotating days and nights.
Those successful may be required to undertake Security Industry authority training, first aid and any other training, as determined by Security/Estates Management.
Valid, SIA Door Supervisor/ CCTV license, First Aid qualification advantageous. Experience within the security industry, particularly, the education sector also desirable. Full driving licence preferred or willingness to obtain full driving license
