Role: Procurement Officer
• Location: Carlisle, Newcastle or Workington
• Position: Full Time, Permanent 36.25 hours per Week
• Salary: £35,190 – £37,740 per annum + benefits package

Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is currently looking for a motivated and proactive Procurement Officer to join our Procurement Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality procurement service to colleagues across the organisation. You will support departments with end-to-end tendering processes, help manage supplier relationships, and contribute to strengthening our procurement
and contract management practices.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with a collaborative and professional approach.
You will bring:
✓ Experience supporting end-to-end tendering processes
✓ Strong financial and commercial awareness
✓ The ability to analyse spend and produce accurate cost reporting and business cases
✓ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including analysis and reporting
✓ Knowledge of contract buying and tender procedures
✓ An understanding of risk management principles
✓ The ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and
partners
✓ Experience managing contracts and supplier performance, identifying risks and opportunities
✓ Knowledge of public procurement regulations (desirable)
