Crynodeb
Receive referrals and schedule patients for outpatient SACT for cancer. To allocate appropriate appointment slots for each stage of the treatment process, liaising with relevant staff as necessary. To participate in all aspects of the administration service within the unit as required. Contribute to the delivery of a consistently high standard of patient care as part of the multi-disciplinary team. To maintain awareness of service delivery developments and contribute to the implementation of change within the service. To participate in meetings as required. Communicate effectively and compassionately with all patients and stakeholders Support the unit manager with data collection and audits as required. Update appointments following treatment changes, deferrals, or cancellations as instructed by clinical staff. Signpost patients to appropriate clinical staff if they have treatment-related questions or concerns. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity when handling patient information in line with GDPR and Trust policies. Contribute positively to a culture of safety, teamwork, and service excellence.
