Ready to find the right role for you?


Salary - £14.25ph plus Veolia benefits
Hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:00

Overtime rate - 40 to 48 hours = time and a half and 48+hrs = double time



Location - Four Ashes, Wolverhampton, WV10 7DG

The site acts as a transfer and treatment facility for Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF), which involves baling, wrapping, and storing waste materials for energy recovery.

What will you be doing?


  • Visually inspect loads, ensuring incoming and outgoing material is of the right quality
  • Checks systems, equipment, tools, and machinery before use
  • Operate, check and clean Yellow Plant
  • Load material into the plant for processing
  • Move material around the site / manage stock levels
  • Loading & unloading of vehicles/hoppers/ shredders
  • Control vehicle movements Baling & RDF
  • Run/operate the balers / RDF equipment
  • Clearing of blockages
  • Provide sample material for quality checks
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, manage litter and spillages



What are we looking for?


  • Similar operational / manual handling experience
  • Must be able to multi task in roles across waste and recycling operations
  • Plant operations and/or baling equipment knowledge is desirable
  • Yellow plant licence ( Wheel loading shovel or 360 grab is desirable
