After School Club Leader – Primary School (Term Time Only)
Location: East Farleigh, Maidstone (ME15)
Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday–Friday approx. 3:15pm–5:30pm
Pay: £13.00–£13.50 per hour
Contract: Term-time only
We are looking for an experienced After School Club Leader to run a small after-school club in a friendly primary school setting.
You will be responsible for supervising a group of around 15 primary-aged children, supported by a Playworker, and creating a safe, fun and engaging environment after the school day.
Key responsibilities
• Leading a small after-school club
• Supervising activities, games and free play
• Ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing
• Liaising with parents and school staff
• Following safeguarding procedures
Essential requirements
Applicants must have previous experience working with primary-aged children, for example in a school, childcare setting, after-school club or similar environment.
You should also be:
• Confident supervising groups of children
• Reliable and organised
• Comfortable leading activities and managing behaviour
• Level 2 childcare/playwork qualification is desirable but not essential.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
