Are you seeking the opportunity to develop your leadership and consultation skills? Do you enjoy being part of a team and working creatively with service users? If so, we invite you to apply for this fixed term Principal Practitioner Psychologist role in our Steps to Recovery inpatient rehabilitation services.

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust has seven Steps to Recovery units, offering a range of mental health rehabilitation services. This post is based at Dan Mooney House and David Bromley House, two Complex Care Units located on the same site in Knowle, Solihull.

The post holder will contribute to the work of the multidisciplinary teams on the units, building collaborative relationships with service users to enhance wellbeing and support recovery. They will also be warmly welcomed into a well-established and supportive group of psychological practitioners working across our community and inpatient rehabilitation services and Assertive Outreach teams.

Individuals at Band 8b or with suitable experience and eligible for this banding will be considered. The post is part time and fixed term until the end of March 2027. Depending on start date, we can offer 22.5 hours a week for 10 months, or more hours per week over a shorter duration.
