Food Production Assistant - Aldershot/Guildford
- £14.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Production
- Prepare food in accordance with approved menus, recipes, and production methods
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed
- Ensure food is ready for service at the correct times and in the correct quantities
Food Service & Customer Support
- Serve food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with basic queries relating to food and service
- Ensure service areas are well presented and replenished during service periods
Food Safety, Hygiene & Cleanliness
- Comply with all food hygiene, food safety, and health & safety requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation, service, and storage areas
- Follow cleaning schedules and safe working practices at all times
- Use equipment and materials safely and report any faults or concerns promptly
Teamwork & Standards
- Work effectively as part of a catering team
- Follow instructions and guidance provided during training
- Support colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintain a professional and positive approach at all times
Skills & Experience
- No previous experience or formal qualifications required
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
