Our client, one of the largest logistics providers in the UK, is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their growing team.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Blyth.
Due to the site location applicants must have their own transport.
Our client offers a variety of fixed, full-time shifts across either days or nights.
Pay rates for Warehouse Operatives are:
Days/Afternoons: £12.21 per hour (increasing to £12.69 after training)
Days Overtime: £18.32 per hour ,(increasing to £19.04 after training)
Nights: £13.96 per hour (increasing to £14.44 after training)
Nights Overtime: £20.94 per hour (increasing to £21.66 after training)
Available shift patterns are:
Rotating shift: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (Monday to Friday)
Fixed day shift: 6am - 6pm (4 on / 4 off)
Fixed day shift: 8am - 4pm (Monday to Friday)
Nights: 10pm - 6am (Monday to Friday)
Nights: 6pm - 6am (4 on / 4 off)
Please note that these roles are not suitable for students due to the fixed shift patterns and rotas.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative your duties include:
- Unloading containers
- Carrying out a variety of hands-on warehouse tasks
- Operating warehouse equipment including VNA trucks (training provided)
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have an excellent standard of spoken and written English
- Be physically fit and able to handle some lifting
- Be comfortable working at heights, as the role involves operating VNA trucks
- Have previous experience in a similar role - this is welcome but not essential
- Be reliable and able to work the required shift patterns
