Crynodeb
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the finishing process of various products, ensuring high-quality coatings that meet stringent standards. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment. Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 07:30 to 15:00
Duties
Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or fabricating as necessary.
Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings uniformly to various components.
Assemble and disassemble parts as required for the coating process.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the coating process.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse environment.
Skills
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication and assembly tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
Basic maths skills for measuring materials accurately during the coating process.
Experience in welding or painting is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
