Our Client, a reputable Independent Used Car Specialist Centre, is seeking to recruit a skilled MOT Tester to join their busy workshop in Liverpool. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to work within a stable, supportive team that prioritises quality workmanship, consistency, and long-term career development.

- Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on experience (DOE)
- Overtime opportunities with earnings up to £40,000 OTE
- Structured working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
- One in three Saturdays, 08:00 – 12:00

Duties:
- As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for performing MOT testing in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements
- Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks
- Identify, diagnose, and complete additional repairs arising from servicing
- Assist with vehicle preparation and basic diagnostic work
- Work efficiently to meet productivity targets while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure all work is documented accurately and comply with health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace conducive to quality work
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record
- Relevant MOT testing qualification (e.g., VTS licence or equivalent)
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester within a busy workshop environment
- Own tools and reliable transport, due to location
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to the business culture
- Strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
