The Job:
Are you an experienced Agricultural Service Engineer looking for a well paid, hands on role working with premium machinery brands?
Weare recruiting on behalf of a respected agricultural dealership looking to strengthen their service team across St Cyrus and Turriff depots. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern dealership working with leading agricultural brands, with access to first-class manufacturer training.
For engineers who enjoy practical work, fault finding, and keeping farmers moving through busy seasons, this role offers real variety between the workshop and working out on farm.
You will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery including Fendt equipment and other leading brands
- Working both in the workshop and travelling to farms in a service van
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools
- Carrying out engine, transmission, and component repairs
- Raising technical support cases through manufacturer systems where required
- Completing job cards and service documentation accurately through the service portal
- Recording labour hours, machine hours, parts used, and photographs where required
- Responding to breakdowns and travelling to customer sites to minimise machinery downtime
- Maintaining high workshop standards and following all health and safety procedures
The Candidate:
- Experienced in agricultural machinery, plant machinery, HGV, or heavy engineering service work
- Skilled in diagnostics and fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems
- IT competent and comfortable completing digital job records and reports
- Practical, organised, and detail-focused with a strong work ethic
- Customer-focused and confident communicating with farmers and colleagues
- Proactive team player who can also work independently when out on farm
- In possession of a full UK driving licence
- Willing to work overtime during peak agricultural periods
The Package:
- Excellent Salary: £55,247–£62,899 DOE
- Optional Overtime: Paid at 1.5x weekday rate
- Weekend Work: Paid at 2x rate
- Relocation Support available for candidates moving to the area
- Fendt manufacturer training and ongoing technical development
- Work with premium agricultural machinery brands
