Mencap is excited to welcome new Support Workers to our amazing team in Sutton‑in‑Ashfield.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, you’ll be making a genuine difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You’ll work alongside individuals with a wide range of abilities, supporting them to live fulfilling, independent, happy lives.
Your days may include:
✨ Supporting with daily routines
✨ Building confidence and independence
✨ Offering emotional support
✨ Celebrating achievements — big and small
✨ Bringing positivity, patience, and genuine care
Every person you support has their own story — and you get to help them write the next chapter.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need specific experience — we’ll train you!
We’re looking for people with:

- A genuine passion for supporting others
- A positive, empathetic, uplifting attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts (including evenings, weekends & holidays)
- A desire to grow, learn, and make a lasting impact

Contract & Shifts

- Part-time positions available
- Shift times vary between 7am – 10pm

We’ll work with you to find patterns that balance your life and ours.
