Senior Design Technology Technician
Wigmore Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Design Technology Technician to provide support for the staff and pupils in the Design and Technology department. You would be joining an established and friendly team in a popular and high achieving school.
Based at the High School you would be responsible to the Head of Design Technology in co-ordinating the use of, and development of, practical resources and facilities, including the provision of guidance and support in meeting the practical requirement of the DT curriculum, as well as liaising with all areas of the school and outside organisations.
ESSENTIAL
Qualifications
• Appropriate qualifications at Level 2 and above which demonstrate the capability of managing a practical school environment
DESIRABLE
• Food Hygiene Certificate
• English and maths at Grade C/4 or above at GCSE
• First Aid certificate

Experience
• Experience of practical technology equipment

• Experience of working with children
• Experience of working in a design technology environment
