We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive SEN school in Knowsley, Liverpool. This is a full-time role that offers a unique opportunity to work with students who require a tailored and nurturing approach to learning.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Art lessons to students aged 11-16 (or as appropriate)
- Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning styles and SEN requirements
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching and support staff team
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Track student progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level
- A strong understanding of SEN and a passion for inclusive education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
