SEN Teaching Assistant:
Pay - £475-£550 per week, depending on experience
Start date: 16/03/2026
Hours: 9:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Full-Time
Are you a kind and compassionate teaching assistant, looking for their next role? We are currently working with a SEN provision in the Longsight area to recruit experienced teaching assistants to join their welcoming team.
The school is an OFSTED rated "Outstanding" SEN provision, that supports pupils aged between 11-19, with complex needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils 1:1, assisting with academic and emotional development
- Communicate with other members of staff and parents to monitor progress
- Create and prepare engaging learning resources
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs within a school or care setting
- A calm, kind nature
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
