This is a fixed-term, full-time role (35 hours per week, all year round) that’s perfect for someone who is proactive, organised, and driven to make a real difference in students’ careers.As a key ambassador for the college, you will expand our network of industry partners and secure high-quality work placements for our students. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring every partnership is successful, meeting both our college targets and employers’ workforce needs.What you’ll be doingResearching, networking, and reaching out to employers to create new work placement opportunitiesFollowing up on business leads and generating new opportunities through cold calling, events, and marketing campaignsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with employers, acting as the main point of contactMarketing work experience, apprenticeships, and bespoke training to employersCarrying out employer health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with group policiesMaintaining accurate records and keeping our CRM system up to dateReporting on progress against KPIs and employer engagement targetsResolving any employer concerns quickly and professionallyAttending college events to promote work experience opportunitiesWho we’re looking forYou’ll be proactive, professional, and confident in building relationships with a wide range of people. You’ll enjoy working independently and as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and be highly organised with a keen eye for detail.Essential:Experience in a customer-facing roleProven ability to generate business leads and build relationshipsExcellent planning, organisation, and administrative skillsExperience using CRM systemsFull driving licence and willingness to travel between college sitesDesirable:Experience working with young people and adults in educationKnowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements
