Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic candidates to join our Student Wellbeing team.
As a Student Supervisor, you will contribute to delivering an exceptional provision that supports student wellbeing, learning and safeguarding outside the classroom. The role requires you to demonstrate good organisational and strong communication skills to effectively engage with children.
This is a part-time fixed-term contract which entails 36.75 hours per week during term time.The hourly rate is £13.85 gross (i.e £15.66 including holiday pay), which derives from a full-time equivalent salary of £28,808 gross per annum.
Key responsibilities
Actively supervise Secondary students during non-classroom hours: e.g. recess, lunchtime, study time, class outings, etc.Supervise Primary students on occasions Establish and maintain a good working relationship with students and staffMonitor and report on student absenceUse a positive discipline approachManage student behaviour and conflicts by applying the school's code of conductReport incidents or concerns in a prompt and accurate mannerMonitor students' emotional well-being and developmental progressProvide first aid care when requiredUndertake occasional administrative dutiesFulfill any additional duties as requestedEducation & experience
English/French speakerGCSE/A-levels or equivalentPositive, professional, can-do attitudeProfessional flexibility and ability to work as part of a teamExperience in working with children and an ambition to work in a school settingStrong commitment to safeguard childrenGood listener and communication skillsAbility to strike a balance between discipline and supportAccountable and punctualAbility to deal appropriately with sensitive or confidential informationCalm and patient under pressureAbility to adapt/react effectively to any circumstancesComputer literateSalary & Benefit scheme
