The team is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, engaging and memorable college experience, supporting students’ wellbeing, personal development and readiness for future careers.About the roleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Student Life Co‑ordinator to lead and develop our enrichment and personal development programme, contributing to the wider Career Ready agenda.In this exciting and varied role, you will work closely with Student Services, Curriculum areas and the Student Union to deliver a vibrant programme of activities and events that enhance the student experience, foster personal growth, and promote an active and influential student voice across the College.
Key responsibilities:Plan and deliver an engaging enrichment calendar supporting behaviour, wellbeing, personal development and career‑ready skills.Lead and support the Student Union, including elections, training, and development of clubs and societies.Coordinate the annual Student Conference and contribute to charity and community engagement activities.Build positive relationships with local community groups and external partners.Engage with students across campus to ensure their voice shapes college life.Work with Marketing to promote activities across college platforms.
The successful candidate will:Have experience working professionally with young people within an educational setting.Demonstrate strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, equality, diversity and inclusion.Be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.Act as a positive role model who can motivate others and build strong relationships.Be self‑motivated, proactive and able to handle challenging situations constructively.Ideally have experience in budget management, event coordination, risk assessment, and digital literacy (desirable).
