The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with first-class organisational, administrative and customer service skills to play a key role within a busy admissions team at one of London’s leading independent schools.
Based in our Junior School, you will be responsible for managing a professional, welcoming and efficient pupil admissions process from first contact, through visits, examinations and assessments, to the first day at school. You will ensure a customer-focused approach to your work, responding to enquiries in a friendly and informative manner and building strong relationships with families throughout the admissions journey.
In addition to this, you will manage the Junior Admissions calendar and actively contribute to the planning and delivery of events such as Open Mornings, Decider Coffee mornings, Taster Days, Induction Days and Welcome Evenings for incoming families. You will also oversee all aspects of the Road to Seniors programme for Years 4–6, coordinating timely communication with parents and liaising with Senior School colleagues to ensure a smooth and engaging transition into Year 7.
About you
We are looking for a dynamic individual with previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of excellent customer service. This role requires exceptional organisational and administrative skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure and work autonomously to tight deadlines. Excellent ICT skills are also essential, including experience with management information systems such as SIMS or iSAMS, as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Teams.
