We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join a Assessment Team.

THIS POST REQUIRES A SOCIAL WORK QUALIFICATION OF A MINIMUM 3 YEAR PERMANENT EXPERIENCE.

About the team

The team works in partnership with children and their families to understand the support they need to live safely and happily. The service is responsible for completing Section 47, Section 17, and Section 7 assessments to determine the level of need and ensure that concerns are addressed appropriately. The team prides itself on effective time management and its ability to work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

About you

A social work degree (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years permanent experience within Local Authority based Social Work. It's essential to have experience of working either in a Front Door, Children in Need, Child Protection and Assessment and Intervention. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential in order to be considered for this role.
